Under the name Kopfkino illustration, Anouschka Boswinous combines illustration and cultural anthropology to tell stories about gender, culture and the climate crisis.
With her work she stretches norms by surprising people in a playful way. While teaching graphic storytelling workshops to children in Amsterdam her opinion on the importance of diversity in representation was confirmed. By showing children (and grown-ups) a wide range of stories and images she doesn't only want to inspire and empower them, but also make them more understanding of each other. Books by Ani's corresponding goals inspired Anouschka to, amongst other things, draw the monthly pioneers that come with the packages.
